If you’re looking to get any information from their website, I’ll save you the time: Don’t bother. (At the time of this writing on 10.14.25). Not much information is available. Of course, a little thing like this isn’t going to stop me from exploring.

Beer Selection—4/5

The place had 9 beers on draft and three seltzers. The beers ranged from a pilsner, to a mango sour, an imperial stout, a porter, a NE IPA, a pumpkin beer, and a wit beer. In nine beers this captured a wide range of flavors. But a part of me does wish they could have swapped out a seltzer or two for an additional draft.

Vibes—4/5

It has interesting vibes—it’s hard to place exactly. It definitely has New Place vibes and feels less like a brewery and more like a library or coffee shop. The popcorn machine is functional and working. The bar is nice. I appreciated the difference in vibes here than a typical brewery.

Service—5/5

I loved the service here. The dude was friendly and answered all of the questions. No complaints here.

Beer Quality—2/5

The beers weren’t bad, but they weren’t exactly good. The mango sour stood out the most to me. Aside from this, the cinnamon apple seltzer rocked. (I do not count this towards beer quality, since it’s not beer, but consider it worth noting. And, in my opinion, it’s definitely worth trying—if you like seltzers.)

Food—N/A

On this day they had a “hot dog bar” for $3. While I am admittedly an uneducated beer snob and a (slightly experienced) food snob, I don’t exactly count having a hot dog bar as food, so we will skip this one. It’s not like I’m expecting fine dining, but I’ve eaten enough hot dogs in this lifetime—it didn’t take many.

Check out the popcorn machine. They have flavors to add as well. And the popcorn is fresh. And they do have an assortment of snacks available for purchase as well.

Overall—Recommend

This brewery didn’t create a strong impression overall and isn’t my favorite in Kalamazoo, but I think it’s worth checking out and forming your own opinion on. I think while the beer isn’t quite on the level I’d like to see it at, the vibes make up for this, creating a uniqueness you don’t find everywhere.
